About Runofan
Runofan is an independent browser game built by a solo developer with two long-running interests: arcade games that take ten seconds to learn, and football. With the 2026 World Cup approaching, those two interests turned into one small project — a one-button runner where your reflexes count toward your country's score.
The game is built with Phaser, a JavaScript framework for 2D browser games, and uses Firebase to keep the World Cup standings and solo leaderboard in sync for every player in real time — no installation and no account creation, just a tab in your browser.
Runofan is actively maintained. Android and iOS versions are currently in development, so the same game — and the same leaderboard — will be reachable from the App Store and Google Play soon.
